Every family’s needs are different, and your schedule can be tailored to match your preferred pace and support level. Below are a few examples of what typical weekly schedules might look like within the 15–30 hour range.
Mixed Support (around 25–30 hours per week)
A blend of daytime and overnight shifts provides both hands-on baby care and rest for parents.
Example 1: Monday–Tuesday nights (8–10 hours each) and Thursday–Friday days (5 hours each)
Example 2: Two overnights and two half-day shifts spread across the week
Night-Focused Support (20–30 hours per week)
Perfect for families who want extra rest while establishing newborn sleep patterns.

Day-Focused Support (15–25 hours per week)
